Look under your rim inside the bowl.
Using a toilet bowl cleaner for example lime a way or clorox hold the flapper open and pour 1 2 cups of cleaning solution down the flush valve opening.
This is common in hard water areas.
Cleaning the rim feed holes and jet holes of your toilet.
If you do not have running water you can still keep your toilet functioning by filling up the tank manually.
Toilets usually lack flushing power because the waste pipe siphon jet or rim jets are partially clogged or the water level in the tank or bowl is too low.
However if the toilet does seem to flush properly than you can move on.
Turn the water supply valve off.
Take the ceramic cover off the tank in the back of your toilet.
If the tank on the back of your toilet is unable to fill regardless of the reason you can force the toilet to flush with a bucket of water.
This is not common but if you ve done every trick in the book to fix the toilet yourself it may be time to call in a professional who can diagnose the problem properly.
Holding the flapper open see picture below let the majority of the water fall out of the tank.
These can usually be removed by hand.
You can do this by pouring a gallon of water into your toilet and flushing it.
