How to use tile spacers. This creates a smooth final space that looks like solid tile. A tight 1 8 grout space will allow the pattern to flow nicely from one tile to the next. There are many styles of spacers and they are are available in sizes ranging from 1 32 inch to 1 2 inch although 1 8 inch 3 16.
